This was actually really great! I was surprised at how much I enjoyed it. Hurricane to fakie front heel shouldve been the ender imo

Element sucks. I could easily see him on Creature

I didn't expect to like it, but I did. He rips.

I'm not white, but I have white friends so I actually own a couple Pavement CDs.

Ethan should have Emilio Estevez'ed it instead of Charlie Sheen'ed and picked a middle name or something else.

That was horrible. There is nothing in that part that makes him pro, he just isn’t that exciting. Especially when kids are doing more on ig stories these days, this just makes no sense.

We were in the same cabin/skated together at Woodward when we were like 13. I remember him not being that good but being super normal despite having a brother who at the time was being worshiped for being am (at Woodward at least, weird place).

Crazy to see how much he's improved. The part was tight - especially his trick selection. A shame that it's Element but I'll be picking up one of his boards regardless.

I'm genuinely mad that this part and song were so good considering he is a Loy and that the part is for element...it's like wrong that it should be this good but like it was so good. Also strange world we live in where Jesse Alba edits a part for element, but hey thats one of the reasons it was actually good aside from the actual undeniably good trick and spot selection

in what world would he be good on Creature

Let's consider any other wealth of board companies he would actually fit on better than Element

In his interview he said Kris Burkhardt edited the part. I guess the jalba thing was an inside joke.

Doesn't surprise me, they love a good joke. Also Kris Burhardt is awesome so still makes sense it was good. HUM was a masterpiece

wow.  He fucking rips.  pretty incredible and i will overlook the sins of his family.  (though i'd be lying if i said david loy doesnt fucking rip too).

Song was great.  The only negative thing i have to say is that once you notice the excessive zooming in the first half it starts driving you nuts.   dont filmers realize how repetitive it is?  It's Ty's 2009 slow-mo only worse

What the fuck, that was really good. Like, one of the best of the year good.
Dude that’s what I’m saying! Seems like after his oldest brothers suicide something must have changed in him and he started taking skating super seriously. So jacked how he bonked off that last skate stopper on the Heath hubba. My favorite part this year so far.

These types of comments will never not be funny to me, especially given that this dude’s white t-shirt + jeans + adidas shelltoe outfits wouldn’t be terribly out of place in the 90s.

I’ve been kinda bummed on myself because over the last year I’ve started only listening to pavement, silver Jews, etc. I know it’s annoying and idk how to explain it.

Anyway, I surprisingly really liked it. He did some interesting shit on some cool spots. Element is fucking wack.

Current PJ Ladd cosplayed would be funny except it isn't funny on him. It looks exactly like what a Qmoron believer looks like in my mind.

How is it PJ Ladd cosplay if I’ve been wearing a fitted baseball hat, jeans and a t-shirt to skate in since before PJ even started? Nice try though.

Oh damn, sorry. You’re a true original average looking skateboarder then and you’ve been like that for 30 years. How’s that looking cool? (I appreciate the BA’s tho, had the same colorway, best shoe).

Yeah man, BA’s are definitely the best skate shoe ever in my opinion.

As far as looking cool, the way I see it anyway, is putting thought into what you are wearing and how it goes together.

For instance, in the 91 photo, I matched the red hat to the red shoes, with tonal blue for the t-shirt and jeans. And blue and red are complimentary colors so they look good together.

For the 2020 image, both the hat and the jeans are a dark navy blue. The T-shirt is gray with a white Nike swoosh that matches up well with a gray white and orange Nike BAs. From top to bottom it’s navy blue, gray, navy blue, gray.

Anyway, I’m sure we’re not gonna agree on what we think is cool, and that’s fine, I guess we’ll have a difference of opinion because I grew up looking up to people like Kareem Campbell, Drake Jones & Eric Pupecki; those dudes always looked so fresh.
