His ledge lines tend to be kind of boring, but his rail/gap skating is spotless.

The Mac Dre made up for the boring first half. Anybody else think his pants tend to look like parachute pants?

That was good.

"The End" gave me a laugh.

Should've gone with "Fin" in flickery black and white with an ornate border

First half though at the same exact spot was a bit boring. Started to get hyped after the 1st half of the video.

Haven’t watched it yet, but I will say.. if you stack up his footage from 2019 next to TJ’s, I think it’s pretty obvious who killed it harder.

dude TJ won SOTY in 2018.

enough with the mask filler.

It was like 10 seconds in a 4:16 minute part...

Nah I kind of agree. Like, we get it, it's a global pandemic right now, I don't need to be reminded between every clip.

That being said, part was dope. Dude has so much power skating switch.

Ah shit that’s right, my bad.  Well I know he wasn’t beating Milton or Mark, but if he did it would’ve been deserved.

undeniably good. still seems like a jock asshole from his interviews.

shorts + white socks + white shoes is very yucky. especially if the shorts are cargo shorts. what the fuck

the white socks bothered me too, they are gross looking and I haven't owned a pair in years and years

"Hey Miles lemme get some B roll shit for your part. But take off the mask first we don't want people on Slap to get upset."

Part was good but I already forgot everything about it and will probably not watch again. But I remember liking it so fuck it give him SOTY.

He’s so insanely good. He kinda skates like an NPC though. Like, he skates fast but his body moves so slowly/heavily or something. It’s kind of hard to explain but it irks me. Questionable kits at times too (bucket hat is dope tho). Had a hard time telling what stance he is at times. Switch heel back 5050? Okay. So wild.

Dude rips, had to laugh at the cargo shorts/polo/backward hat fit tho because he looked like some frat boy who just stumbled out of a greek life party blasting a massive switch heel over that bump to bar.

That abandoned mall ledge spot he skates in the first half seems like a warm up spot you end up skating all day

Thank you. It's not necessary and it's already getting corny. Anyone with a brain knows that the filmer and Miles were less than six feet apart at the next spot filming a line. I guess if Adidas asked to include mask usage that's fine..

As good as he is, thug life soundtrack to a guy playing with toys at strip malls is not terribly thugish.

2. I love Mac Dre, but seeing as the part was entirely in Sacto; they should have used a brotha lynch hung track.

Agreed with Brotha Lynch comment. Would have been more fitting seeing it was all Sacramento spots. In some way, I like how Miles is like Biebel in the sense that he doesn't do any trendy tricks or things that doesn't fit his style. It's always kind of the same type of parts with just very clean skating.

undeniably good skater but sac scene is just so corny i can't get behind it (disclaimer: grew up in that area)

Just curious....why the Sac scene is corny? To me it always felt like just a small town but some people tell me it can be ghetto and others will tell me it's boring and others will tell me it's the shit. I can't really figure out who is right.

I’m 34 and nah. His style isn’t fluid, it’s very heavy, not quite rigid or stiff, but just slow...careful almost. It’s genuinely hard to describe but I can’t say I like it.

He is too smooth.
Like, literally, he makes everything seem kinda boring and without risk.

He also suffers sometimes from "Felipe Gustavo syndrome", i.e. only hitting the last couple inches of the ledge. I understand that not every trick needs to be just sat upon for yards, but I hate it when dudes are just nibbling the ends of ledges.

In summary, amazing, amazing talent that I just cannot get excited about at all.

people from there who "rep 916" really try to put sac on the map and pretend like its something other than a boring capital city with a mediocre scene and bland spots. idk just the (biased) opinion i have after living there for some time. i'm sure some people actually think it's the shit, but i have a hard time getting excited about anything that comes out of sac

I can agree with that. The lines tended to drag on in the first half even though most of that footage was crisp and clean. At least he makes up for it in the second half killing rails, stairs, and gaps. He's obviously talented but his kits and his approach in his lines just kill the excitement.

Minus the mask comments this dude is a freak. We took him and JoeFace to the plastic 12 rail in the hallway in Charlotte when they were filming for Duets. He switch back lipped it first T and did probably 30 switch back tails back to back, didn't miss one, to warm up to try switch back tail shove. Unfortunately he didn't get it but watching that dude's process is fucked. Much Respect.

Dudes got one of the sickest styles out, part was solid

People giving him shit for shorts but giving Ishod a pass for jorts. If anything the purple pants were worse.
