I think OP’s premise is fair, particularly for someone who skates all or most of their teenage years. The habits you build at that age can be very formative. I wouldn’t be surprised if the unhealthy habits we build up as kids chasing stoke catch up as behavioral problems later on. I’m 25 myself and find myself unlearning the shitty habits of my teenage self every day.
