Clearly, Berle's new vans part was fucked and will be re-watched more than all 4 Silva parts combined
pretty sure i don't need to watch berles part again. but cool if it gets you so hyped.
if most fucked tricks win others have done crazier and gnarlier tricks imo.
berle imo is just looking meh on a skateboard in general, no matter what tricks he does. i think my main problem is that his skating and looks are very derivative of all his teammates. people say sean pablo is a copycat, but i find berle to be way worse. whoever said berle is like that chick that emulates her current boyfriend, as bad as that trope has aged, it was spot on. when i watch his parts i often think "this is like a dylan trick and landing, this is like a dill line, here he's trying to look and skate like ave", and so on.
and the difference between him, austyn, and all these fashionista skaters to dylan imo is that dylan looked like he didn't try to look as swaggy. i doubt dylan sweated his ass off in the morning about his kit. berle comes off as if it takes him 2 hours to figure out what pair of dickies he puts on and what pomade to put in his hair. that's all cool but it wouldn't be worth for me personally just to end up looking like a generic greaser. and he probably isn't like that, but the editing makes him come off like that.
i agree though that some tricks were very fucked in his new part, but that metric alone doesn't really cut it for me. imo mason went gnarlier overall, too.
it's funny, i actually thought berle would snatch soty last minute before the part dropped, i kind of had that feeling, but now after the part, i'm a bit underwhelmed and pretty sure it's gonna be mason. there was this suspense about him dropping that part last minute which warranted the attention, but i liked gilberts section better overall as a skatepart, and that wasn't even his best part. not to take away from berle's hammers, but still, underwhelmed.
