these pieces of shit. super stiff, leather and suede cracked and they just felt horrible. I had Emerica Cruisers that lasted 5 sessions and other shoes that didnt last too long but those Telfords were the worst by far.

Had a Real board that felt dead, zero pop since day one but i thought it was just me being weird and it looked ok and wasnt warped. A few sessions later gave it to a friend that skates the worst boards ever and he hated it too. I was actually happy because i thought it was all in my head going crazy about gear, if he hated it i know that board is probably cursed or something

Monster Trucks had the worst bushings of any truck company that's ever existed. I remember them turning horribly and being very heavy.

Hurricane trucks weren't all that great either.

Local sports-store had a clearence sales last year where they were selling Globe Appleyards 20 euros a pair, like half of skaters in this town skated those at that time and I never heard single complain about them.Haven't skated my pair cuz they're vulc but as a chilling shoe they have hold pretty well.
i bought the mahalo and the motley. The upper was pretty tough but the sole is the worst

I know I'm bumping a 3-4 year old thread (kook me, I know it's coming), but this one actually has good potential to stick around. I know we share tidbits of pros and cons to gear throughout the various threads, but a central holding place for more general comments on gear that should be avoided may be useful?

If not, I'll delete my reply and the bump. Lol

Some of the worst gear: Royal Trucks, Thunder Hollow Lights, Plan B deck, cored Spitfires (2008ish), es Accent, Huf (RIP) Hupper 2 low.

I have the Busenitz Vulc 2 and quite like them actually. Good fit with the tongue strap, quite durable, looks nice. Would cop again.

X 3. Did not last more than 10 minutes in them before they went into the donation station.

Years ago a local sports store (think hockey/baseball) had a truckload sale where they had tables of Globe shoes for $30 or 2 pairs for $40 cdn. Having lived through the chet iv days but never having the cash to get them I picked out what was, to my mind, most similar and got some Sabres...and since it was such a "great deal" a pair of waxed encore generations for chillers. Fast forward to me skating in the sabres...sole was so hard and plastic-like that I would slide off my deck while going downhill. Combined with no boardfeel at all it was scary and they got donated right quick. Encores were garbage too and were relegated to chore shoes.

More recently Rowley motorhead vans. Lost their shape immediately, the sole wore out pretty fast and my heel/achilles always hurt post skating.

Bronson bearings - G2/G3 both sucked. Paid for the G2s, blew out in a week. Buddy had a set of G3s and let me use them, cracked the cages in about 15 minutes.
Jessup grip - maybe I just suck and can't land flip tricks, but I feel like every time I put Jessup on a board, I go through 2-3 sheets per deck. Ive never had that problem with Mob.

I had that happen with a few deluxe boards before

Easily the worst shoes I've ever skated were Lakai Koston Select. Got torn to shreds and almost wore through the sole in a few sessions. Insoles were basically cardboard

As much as I hate to say this, Jamie Thomas Circas had the soles crack open. I don’t hate the chief but Circa was pretty bad.

That sounded like Paul's Warehouse, if you were in Australia, which had a lot of questionable shoes, and some clear fakes if you know what to look for.

I bought a ton of legit Vans from those guys before they closed down for good.

I talk too much about skateboards.  Sorry.
