Maybe they don't get shit because they didn't went out of their way to emulate other super iconic and beloved skater...
Everyone loved when Ali Boulala dressed as Penny. I think this is just one of these spurious things where people found an excuse to hate on someone they didn’t like but couldn’t put a finger on why before. I think he dresses more like Gillette outside of the similarities of a tucked in white tank top.
I dont know about Ali and Penny, that was before my time. I only got to know Ali as a PissDrunx.
And I never disliked Elijah, he's obviously a good skater but I never really cared that much about him either.
I can also use your same logic against you, like you only excuse his (extremely obvious) bite because you liked him before, and don't want to acknowledge him stealing Dylan's thunder. Like someone said before, he even has the same fucking dog.
Also, Austin dressed similar to Dylan, sure, they were really close friends, I can see why they rocked similar fits, but he never stole his gestures or his bag of tricks...
