I'm not mad at it, i think it can help the flow of a part, subconsciously it's like "and now onto the next trick".
If you have too many stops and celebrations it breaks up the flow.
Also if i thought a mob of yewwing sweaty californians were about to wrap me up in a pabst-scented covid group hug I'd start pushing the fuck out of there too
