Taping feet for skating?
« on: December 04, 2020, 02:14:09 AM »
I heard recently that AVE tapes his feet before skating to deal with foot pain. Does anyone here have any experience with that? Does it really help that much? Is there a certain method to taping your feet? My pinky toe on my right foot makes skating suck sometimes. I've come to hate that sharp fucking pain of my ingrown toenail rubbing against my shoe.

Take care of your feet. Dig out that toe nail first and keep it clean so it doesn't get infected first. You won't be able to skate for a month and make sure it doesn't grow inward again

I believe the tape AVE uses is compression tape. It's like swaddling a baby keeps them tight and secure. I'm assuming he has flat feet

No tape will help an ingrown toenail but I'm no doctor

Certainly sounds better than the compression band I use when I twist my ankle, can't feel shit skating with that on.
