Undies
« on: December 27, 2020, 12:53:16 PM »
What kind of underwear you guys wear while skating?
I’m a regular sized fella, but my thighs are pretty big and I’ve always had a hard time finding underwear that don’t bunch up on me. Even went commando for a few years b/c it gave me more comfortable leg mobility while skating, but eventually having to wear different pants everyday became too much of a hassle. Anyone tried Duluth Trading’s underwear?

calvin boxer briefs

boxer briefs are the superior mens underwear
while cool-guying is a real phenomenon, studies show that 83% of all cool-guying incidents can be attributed to the cool-guyee being an awkward weirdo

I'm running Ex-Officio boxer briefs.  Spendy - about $20 a pair, but they last forever.  I bought my first set probably 8 years ago and they are still going strong with no sign of giving out yet.

I spent 23 years racing bikes and suffer from large thigh as well.

Boxer briefs, usually which ever brand is cheapest at Walmart. Gilden might be the brand.
What do you usually wear OP?

CK trunks with stretch cotton are my go-to.  they keep their shape and are a good price point.

if you're over 20 years old you gotta get off the cheap underwear game.

the good stuff is noticeably better

I’ve been buying the Hanes tag-less boxer briefs. They are great for about 3-4 months but then the elasticity of the leg bands begin to loose their integrity and start ridding up. I also shop for underwear at Walmart and that’s likely half the problem for me..

Rad! Have these saved in the cart now. Sounds like they’re well worth the investment

My wife keeps buying me these undies by SAXX. Comfy as hell and they have these two lines that keep your junk in place

but when I shop for myself that waalmart brand George a size or two up to keep em baggy

Boxer briefs are the truth. Walmart ones are pretty much trash though. I just go to the gap and check for clearance ones.

Running shorts. Either the 5" regular style or 2" splits. They have internal briefs for support and the fabric is thin so it doesn't hold sweat or bunch up.

Used to work for an outdoor company so I got a pro deal with patagonia. Stocked up on a few pairs of their boxers and they are truly the best . Most of the rest of what I have is Hanes / Walmart boxer briefs

Tommy Hilfiger tighty-whiteys (not in white tho). I have huge thighs I don't like extra material between them.

Boxer briefs... I always buy my socks and undies at stores like TJMaxx, Ross, or Marshall's because you can find quality shit at a discount. CK and Nautica boxer briefs are my favorites, but I bought a pack of "athletic" briefs made by NB recently that I really like.

i was a loose boxer type of guy, but been changing to briefs in the last few years. hope this will prevent my ballsack from succumbing to gravity. regular boxers are also big no no when you ride your bike a lot. too much bunch up.

want to try out patagonia, but they are expensive.

most of mine are from uniqlo or h&m.

Hanes boxer briefs for a long time, but when I have the spare cash I get boxer briefs from Duluth Trading. Definitely like the stuff they make especially the Amachillo boxer briefs.

regular briefs.  keeps everything in it's place without any extra material.  I never understood the point of boxer briefs.

For skating I go with these

Hanes Men's Comfort Flex Fit® Breathable Mesh Long Leg Boxer Briefs 3-Pack
https://www.hanes.com/hanes-mens-freshiq-comfort-flex-fit-breathable-mesh-long-leg-boxer-briefs-3-pack-cfflp3.html

They are nice and breathable. I like the longer leg, feels like I'm wearing compression shorts without squeezing too tight. They also never ride up. Usually catch them on markdown at target.

For chilling my wife set us up with a MeUndies subscription, we get a new graphic each month, most of them a corny but she's the only one that sees them. Their boxer briefs fit nice. Nice and stretchy, junk area is like a hammock keeps everything where it needs to be. Little shorter in the leg but as long as I don't activity in them they stay put.

didn't realize patagonia made boxers briefs, going to have to try those. be a good excuse to hit the store up downtown.

i've been running mack weldon and like them. comfiest i've had so far, no bunching.

Just got rid of a bunch of Hanes that I had as the thigh lost its shape; went over to Fruit of the Loom and they seem to have a longer leg (I have long legs) and bunch minimally, if at all. I have contemplated trying the CK ones but I recently got burned by buying some Ben Sherman ones and the thigh area was just too short. So with the CK ones, I am nervous that the thigh again will be too short. Can you CK boxer brief fans comment on this?

Stance butter blend if I can find them on sale. I usually find Kuhl on clearance at REI, those are also really nice

Baggy pants help too
