If you go by menswear/ suiting logic, a forest green or burgundy shirt would look pretty class with navy 874s, whether it's just a forest green or burgundy t shirt, or a white oxford + forest green/burgundy sweater, white tee + forest/burgundy hoodie, or like a white tee + burgundy hat for example
I like navy 874s, I have a pair. They go with pretty much anything because they're relatively neutral. All my pants are like, black, grey, brown, khaki, navy, army green, blue jeans... So I don't really have to think about shit. I can get dressed in the dark and all my shit still looks the same, and every once in a while I end up accidentally wearing some fits that are like all one color, on some Heath shit. There was a period in like 2019 where I had way too much khaki/beige colored stuff and would accidentally look like I'm in some Wild Wild Country situation sometimes.
I stopped keeping some of the more festive stuff around, just because I don't really like when my outfit is a talking point. It's why I don't wear skate branded stuff, or music-related shirts, etc. That might seem high strung or anti-social, but I'm a hoarder/OCD and if I don't set some ground rules I'll end up with 2000 pairs of pants. It's happened before. Thrifting scratches my primitive foraging itch. My most recent "extremes" that got the boot are still pretty tame; white dickies painter pants, burgundy 874s, houndstooth dickies chef pants, white leather belts, stuff like that. Burgundy pants are for Puleo.
I also really like bright colored 'collegiate' blazers and dunks, like say the Kentucky's or Sweet Beets, but I've phased that out too so I can be even lazier getting dressed. If I accidentally wear all navy or something it's way better than say, bright red/white blazers, burgundy 874s, red t-shirt, red hat hahah. Back to the Rajneeshis. I do love red, however, on old wool hunting coats or alpine jackets. If you just have one red thing, and it's like a hardshell climbing jacket or old wool coat or hat, it looks right. Visibility in the outdoors. I hard stopped wearing red baseball caps about 10 years ago though
