Mark Waters has been battling COVID-19 and is not doing well. He and his wife have not been able to work, and expenses are beginning to pile up. Please help if you can.

Not only has Mark done a ton for skateboarding, he also did so much for the music scene in Southern California for a few years. He opened such an awesome venue/skatepark a few years back(that unfortunately came to an end).

Mark was the best in 90-93 woodward, helping all the kids take pictures, even though it might not have been his class. He helped me get a few great shots of early AW Potter, Dyrdek, and Santos and Brauch. Followed most everything sense.

Mark was so nice when I met him. Pretty sure he was the director at Woodward at the time. 90-92 were the years I went. Don't think he ran the photo class, but took the time to help me compose shots of Pitre, Dyrdek, Santos, May anyways. Encouraging anyone in the photography class.

Mark continues to fight. Still critical, still in the ICU and still needing a ventilator to help him breathe. I keep expecting him to walk in the door and give us his 2 cents about yesterday’s events . I know we all wish this nightmare was over, but we’re told it’s going to be a long process.
