It’s obviously french speaking but the images speak for themselves.
In short, the kids are talking about freedom and sensation and this is the overall feel of the video.
Highlights :
- the old man around 2 minutes telling how he was roller skating when he was young and how the kids are smearing the rollerblading culture now.
- the concrete skatepark at the beginning has the worst concrete
- around 3 minutes another (old) man telling he’d rather see the kids in a skatepark, then the kids say that pedestrians / non skateboarders are giving them a hard time, calling the police etc. The journalist then points out the lack of skateparks in Europe at the time
- around the 5 minutes mark they are asked about their « American look, one guy replies he’s got a « Polynesian » shirt instead of a Hawaiian one haha
