Hi! I thought I would make this thread for replica shoes also known as Counterfeits. These are shoes that closely resemble another shoe not made by the same company. This allows people to get a hold of rare shoes that most people cannot afford for a cheap price. I have skated a pair of replica Nike Dunks and I thought they were pretty good considering that they were a fake version of a shoe. I recommend that you change the insoles if you buy any replica. Replica shoes can be bought on websites such as Taobao and Weidan.

A big NO! I understand that not everyone can buy from their favorite brands, but replica shoes are made to copy the brand's symbol and not provide comfort. Do not sacrifice your legs for some famous pair of boots. I experienced, and I know what I am talking about.

Or maybe just maybe, a better idea is to list shoe brands that create shoes similar to ones you can’t get ahold of.

E.g. Can’t find dunks highs? Lakai makes the Telford.

Fuck paying money for fake shit. A lot of replica dunks aren’t even that cheap.

Most fakes still sell for retail. Back in the day you used to be able to get reps for like $30 that was the only appealing part

I’ve tried a few last year. And shared my experience on here. Highs lows and mids. I paid less than 50 for each pair. The highs were trash. The mids were okay. The lows were good. The problem with replicas is inconsistency in production. You don’t know what your getting, no QA. The B their factory doesn’t have to answer to Nike. Role the dice or just get some 50$ Shoes.

saw some replica or maybe factory rejects pair of Es Koston 1 in 2006 here in Asia. they don't come with the box. the price tag was roughly $25.

Replica is the classy name for fakes. Where as a bootleg or knock gives the impression of it being somehow lesser. Calling it a replica gives the air of legitimacy

I figure replica signifies that it focuses more on replicating the shoe as close as possible, whereas knock off will change a part of the design.

In theory, like if you go to replica Sneakers Reddit or follow the right social media accounts some of these dudes post pictures of themselves at the factory showing how of how Good their product is but at the end of the day they still aren’t expecting their customers to skate in them. The mids I had looked excellent, and if I didn’t skate them they’d last forever, but I skated them. The upper was better than a lot of brands but the sole fell apart.

I've met a few people recently that admitted to buying fake jordans for 200 to skate in, honestly I don't get it since replicas have been hit or miss for a while now just never know what you're gonna get zero oversight on quality control.
