Boardslide down a (park) handrail finally! | Skate Progression Video

[XS Progression]

Sup slap?

Finally reached this level of my skating and was able to land a boardslide down a handrail! (skatepark stairset rail). This has been a goal of mine for so long! Get wrecked the first time, but finally got it down. Also landed Nollie BS 360 Shuvs as my newest flatground trick! Made this vid of the progression to land these tricks

Boston area skaters maybe you're familiar with the old two stair double rail inside nestled in the mini plaza on the corner of  Oliver st and High st.
Maybe one of the best days of my life was bs boardsliding and bs nosesliding it at age 15.
I wonder if any skaters have clips grinding or sliding up that thing? Any of you ever skated my dear 2 stepper?

How big is that other set? I remember that spot and getting into an argument with a UPS driver about my bad brains shirt

@IusedToSkateMore I think there are two sets leading into it - one on Oliver and one on High. I think that they are both longish 6 stairs but one of them may have been an 8. I wish I could remember what videos had skate clips there. I think the handrails were kind of tallish and as skinny double rails you could really lock into slides but they were sketchy.

I'm thinking of those bigger sets and for some reason remember an 8. We lived about 45 min out of the city and would get up there as a crew sometimes. Anyways, this kid I skated with was doing back 360s down the set and 5-0's. This was a really memorable day actually because these guidos in a Mercedes started fucking with us somewhere over near Newbury, following us and yelling shit. We all get to a stop sign to cross and the guidos are trying to cut us off/hit us and the dude who destroyed that set hucks an open Red Gatorade right into the open window as they're driving away. Couldn't do anything on the one way.

I was a 15 year old with a brand new bad brains shirt, UPS dude was calling me a poser because the shirt was new and I was like "fuck you dude. starting a fight with a 15 year old? you're a real tough guy." ha ha ha I used to pull shit like the when I was a kid.
