So he obviously has massive influence there. Id say this cover means he has something coming out. Probably the nike part

Why the fuck didn’t he get SOTY then after Pretty Sweet dropped? That part was testament to one of the most intense comebacks in skateboarding, ever. I know David Gonzales ticks some Thrasher boxes but still in a weirdly slick and contrived way. He did that sick ditch Kickflip but all things considered he was such an underwhelming pick that year.

Yeah the laser flips and body varials were a bit much, but I have faith that he can taste up his part a bit and still have some mind benders in there.

I much prefer aging pro low impact skating of the Reynolds variety to Rowley’s ditch obsession, so maybe I’m just triggered by this cover.

Either way, Suciu should have won that year, but everyone forgets about it. Cross Continental (and all his other footage) was way better than Figgy, Daveed and Guy.
