Thought he was on it for a while. Either way, stoked

I definitely remember seeing him on Aces back in the summer. I assume this was announced after the new year for some contractual reason
This is not my SOTY. I'm telling my kids there was no SOTY for 2021

Often they like to have a video / photo for an ad or something to put out there, rather than just say something and not have much to show for it.

Rad pic, cool video, and interesting to see the shoes now it was mentioned, as well as his response.

I talk too much about skateboards.  Sorry.

Been over a year since riding the checkered trucks...

This is the earliest one I could find (also have that board and it is a beast, 8.75 FULL shape) but I am pretty sure there was something about it from late 2019 people were talking about, but I could be wrong.  Not trying to be the know it all, just something interesting that was noted in the many departures from Indy around the time of the "toy thing" at NHS.

Two different shoes cuz his ankle had stitches.

This is what I was thinking.

Also, if I'm not mistaken, this is the Albany bowl, the one that The Chief allegedly couldn't get directions to and ended up bringing a bunch of scooter kids for directions.

I'm pretty sure BA was in Albany when he got that bad shark bite on his ankle. Is there a chance that this is what he was trying, and then when his ankle was good enough, he went back and got it for the ad?

I don't know why but this font does my head in

Portobello was buck today by the way. First bit of proper dry ground in awhile.

Yeah, no one likes it. No one's ever had anything good to say about it.

I actually work right around the corner from Portobello, but I'm only out at 5 when it's dark, so as the grand stretch in the evening starts to come back, I'll be there.

I like it. It's like reading some RFCs

I worked for awhile at Empire distribution in the bay area. They did Diamond, ACE, Force trucks, mighty healthy and some other brands. They wouldn't pay us $ but in product so at the end of the day we'd pillage the place this was about 08 09. Started trying ACE liked them a lot. Would see Tershay and Greg Carroll roll through occasionally but I guess Joey Tershay got the OG independent patent from Fausto and was somehow able to make it work. Dont quote me i was just working there but I found them again and for $40 you get yourself some awesome lightweight trucks no hollow stuff and Matt Rodriguez backs them so I'm back on the ACE program. Ride broken in outta the box too no changing bushings.  My 2 cents.

He was one of the only dudes getting paid on Indy for a while, maybe they cut that part of his contract recently and he just wanted to ride ACE's. Heard a weird story from one of his friends that he wouldn't even order boxes from Indy cuz he didn't want to bother the people there, that he would just go and buy them to trade product for them, but never order packages.
