I don’t love it, but that’s the exact spot my canvas vm003 tore and they were my least durable lrab pair I’ve had so far. If it makes them last as long as my vm001s or cm001s then I’ll get over it

I just picked up a pair of the D13 Milics and the insole on them has been slimmed down quite a bit compared to my D10 VM003s. I have no idea if this is new for D13 or not. I felt like I was missing boardfeel in my D10s so it’s a welcome change in my books. They seem to fit a little better too.

I think they’ve shaved a bit of height off the whole thing, but it’s hard to tell. My foot definitely sits a little lower in them than with the D10 insole.

This would make me super happy if true. I love the fit of the OG insole, but would like a bit more protection

idk who needs to hear this, but the cm001s are the best skate shoes on the market. skates so good and mad durable.

Yeah, but I really don’t understand the point. It might minimize the empty space around the area above the heel of VM003 Highs. If it was a bit lower and cupped the heels, it would make up for the lack of heel padding. I don’t know what the practical reason behind the bubbles are, but they’re more comfortable than Polar, DLX, or HUF socks.
