I know this probably got discussed a few pages back but how do the CM001’s fit?  Local doesn’t carry LRAB but would like to give them a try.

LRAB sizing is unlike other shoes in my experience, I’m a 9 in literally anything else but for LRAB I wear an 8.5 in all of the suede vulc models and am a 9.5 in the cups. I tried 9’s and they were too snug.

yeah i got cm001s TTS (12) and they're def on the short side. havent skated them yet but would 100% jam my toes up badly unless i grab some stretchers for them.

Just thought I’d mention, I’ve put a few sessions into the D13 Milics with the new slimmed down insole and I’d say they’re pretty much TTS now. They have way more boardfeel than the D10-12 insole but still enough cushioning to feel comfortable jumping out of stuff. They’ve made me realise how much I didn’t like the original thick cloudy cush.

So they went away from the cloud Cush insole? Or only on the milics?  Haven’t paid attention to the details and specs in a bit

They still have the cloudy cush, they’ve just made it a little thinner, presumably because it made the shoes fit small. I posted a picture of them a couple of them a couple of pages back. I haven’t seen LR mention it anywhere, but I did see a review from a shop on Youtube saying it’s changed across all the models.

Do the CM001s kinda fit like the VM001s?  I've got some VMs and love the fit, but want a cup.  I've got super flat feed & the NB 440s arch is too much for me.

I think they should stick to simplistic designs. I don’t see the point in designing a tech skate shoe when you don’t have the resources like Nike/New Balance.

Maybe just my opinion, but I’d rather buy an NB if I’m in the market for a shoe that looks like that, since the comfort/quality will be there

The VM’s and First CM are all great though

Yeah, I agree actually, although I don’t think they really look that techie. I bet they’re basically just a CM001 with some ventilation. I can’t speak for NB because I’ve never owned any, but I bet the materials on these are better than on Nike SBs. I skated some Dunks and Blazers recently and I was surprised how quickly I blew holes in them!

There is a crazy sale on at the moment, got a pair of Vm001 canvas shoes for €33 delivered. Probably just for chillers as way to used to dunks for skating and haven't skated vuls in 10 years.

I think those techy looking cupsoles are the second good looking shoe to me from them. The CM 001 and these actually look "designed" and seem to be built better than their vulcs. All their vulcs look like disproportionate toddler shoes that were sloppily thrown together. The VM 001 highs don't look as bad as the rest of the vulcs, however.

It's sick to see LRAB branch out a little bit. I think it will do them well to have simple staples and then a one or two off that's more of a risk to serve more of their potential audience.

Lastly, if a shoe company can make an actual solid cupsole, then I have faith in what they're doing. Making vulcs is far simpler and cheaper from what I understand, so it's also a useful metric for how committed to making a quality product they truly are

Those wallabee looking shoe are really something – it's probably just my anxiety of rolling my ankle, but these look like instant ankle rollers with the height of their outer soles and how low they are cut.

In another life (with better ankles) I could definitively see me rocking those

12s in VMs are a bit big, in CMs a bit small. In every other show, just right. Will still be able to skate the CMs though I think. They’re definitely nicer on my flat feet than the NB 440 lows

not that it will change your mind, but i don't think they are cut any lower than the rest of the LRAB lows. flipping back and forth between images on foot and store shots isn't helping me solve that though

all that said, i'm wondering if they'll do a high/mid version

I see, what you mean. But the way wallabee style shoes are made, I find the upper less stable than your regular shoe that has laces up to the front of my foot
