I think I saw them say in an Insta comment that it's D14, which my local shop has told me is March. They also responded to someone complaining about the fit with "D14" which implies they're going to change the shape of the toe or something for the suede ones. I'll definitely be picking up a pair if that's true.

I actually liked the stubby fit of the v1 cm001's. Fit my hobbit feet perfectly. Us flintstone feet having mf's can never catch a break.

can i get a sizing comparison to say a dunk?

i really wanted the green ones because they looked great in the pictures.

I've owned a few pairs of cats, but always felt like they fell short of how I preferred shoes to look. Since' Ive always liked wallys the cats were the only ones around at the time but if the Last Resorts were out at the same time, I'd never have bought the cats. The last resorts look almost identical to how a wally skate shoe should look in my mind and the cats look like an overpuffed small boot in comparison. Anyway, the market can stand both. But I can see why Matt replied based on the text in the first slide.

i bought more ipaths than maybe any other shoe. i have fond memories.
outside of one pair of cats, and one pair of grasshoppers….most of the shoes were dogshit. they looked great, but my yogi’s were made out of plastic and cardboard. ridiculous.
the first wave of blue suede grasshoppers were really nice. my black grasshoppers were almost water resistant, just cheap painted low grade plasticky leather.
i’d buy any of them in a heartbeat.

the last resorts have a better shape. look rad. i’m stoked to try them.





i did have an all grey pair of mystics, and i’ve never looked better.

The first ipaths were pretty bad, my hemp crickets tore in a week around all the seams. As time went on they got much better, my first brown cats and black leather grasshoppers skated great and wore out evenly if my memory serves me correctly.
Seemed like they had a different factory every season at one point. The last resort shoes are a great wallabee that’s skatable. But the cats are their own thing, some puff and a bit more structure under foot. There is
Room for both.

Pretty bummed to see that, and he does have a point, but he doesn’t really have a leg to stand on.  The Last Resort version will be superior most likely. 

Also, every boomer in the country has a pair of “Hey Dude”s; the “wallabee sneaker” is everywhere with or without Last Resort

I believe Ipath shoes were always terrible - for a hippy hemp fueled brand they certainly found the darkest sweatshops to exploit for cheap labour. Both pairs of Rodriguez signatures I grabbed had the toe stitching blow out from walking. If he is talking shit someone let me know, and I'll buy every colour.
