Well, i'm not a fan of Tupac's Rapping, its too weak for skating. But to each their own i guess.

I don’t personally dig his music too much either but I thought it fit fine here. Too each their own as you said.

The Tupac song is only bad because he just skated to Tupac in his Primitive part. I don’t like Tupac at all but I thought it worked there.

Skating is what’s important and this guy is great.

He is sick, however halfway through it occurred to me that his style is the equivalent of man spreading and I could not appreciate the skateboarding as much any more.

The classic Tom Penny style, love it. That cowboy stance was all the rage in the nineties, people even faked that (doing the spread post landing) and that looked awful.

I like Roman's skating, super clean classic tech skating. I somehow connect him with Max Geronzi, Fran Molina and Youness Amrani. All tech euro dudes, roughly the same age and style, who are the best skateboarders.

I don't know, maybe I am biased since Penny was the holy grail of style when I grew up, but I think it's quite different. Penny is much more flowing, spontaneous, even elagant. Lisivka's style is extremely controlled and has a distinct bro flavor. Hence my reference to man spreading.

The primitive style

I guess that's true to some extend, but there are exceptions including Villani and Neal, for example. Even Lemos has a different vibe I feel, despite some similarities with definite offenders like Ribeiro and McClung. I think they are all great btw, but sometimes I have a hard time looking past the frat boy schtick.
