From the WKND website about the new shape. Grant is a slap lurker confirmed. Might just have to try this out even though I have so many decks in the pile still

Not sure if it's in their current line up but skating a 917 8.5 slick with a 14.18 wheelbase at the moment. Really good shape.

From my research DSM tend to be almost always steep kicks but differ in concave (steep or mellow).

On the topic of Evisen, they have some interestingly short dimensions. 8 x 31.2 x 14, who the hell can ride such short trucks? Anecdotal evidence suggests that Theeve are somewhat cheaper in Japan, so maybe the brand designed super short board to pair with a truck that sucks the wheels in more?

the japanese are historically on the shorter side so maybe it works? a lot of pals here love the dane1 with aces which isnt much longer so maybe its a short leg thing...

cant get anything under 31.6 to work for my lanky ass legs but riding a compact setup seems cool/practical

Didn't Schmidt say that Priceyhot dude wanted a wide board with short WB?

Birdhouse Hale 8.625 X 32 WB 14.3.

With some Indys this felt very fun. I might return the Alien I have coming for another one of these, although my second setup has Ventures on it so it might not be ideal. Hopefully they go on sale and I'll just splurge and stock up

appreciate the enthusiasm but your wheelbase is .05 too long for this thread

It’s a combination of Trevor Thompson and Matt Price (board shape is 8.5mp MP=Matt Price) Matt was riding trevors board which I think is 8.25 and wanted a wider board and Shcmitt made him a 8.5x14in wb. That’s what I’ve gathered from posts on IG. I appreciate everyone involved can’t wait to skate mine.

Haha I didn't think of it until I was driving to work right after. Meant to delete but fuck it. It flipped really well, I have to say. Better than my Alien that's 8.6 and 14.1 WB.

I’ll be waiting to read the report. I’ve been wanting one.
I’m kinda doing the thing: chasing. I’d most likely be better off on a 8”ish board/trucks, but my favorite deck rn is 8.5 with ace classic 55s. Kickflips are the best, treflips are not happening tho. I tend to go on some weird gear missions trying to find the perfect, instead of just sticking with a general size. Not helpful, but kinda fun.

Is That the Fingerboard Company That Males 3d printed Decks ?

Yes, first run sold out in an instant, second run shipping now it seems.  The distances were asked and it is .38" between each (same as the Indy / standard 6 hole baseplate) but a whole lot easier to use.

Just checked and he now has two versions, the .38 red and the .25 black which is pretty cool.

Just set up mine going skating today I’ll report back. Nose is pointier than the boards I’ve been on, Square shapes, but not crazy pointy like a baker. I’m looking forward to skating it. Pics from the set up thread:
