New local got shop decks in with 8.5, 8.75, and 9.0 with 31.875 being the length and WB being 14.25

Do you know how mellow the mellow is and how steep the steep is?

Assuming the boards are actually from AD, they don’t say but there’s good photos. I want to see more places specifically listing concave depth. Somewhere I was able to find the Gonz board has 0.5” concave which is mellow

The new Tommy G real deck is 9.2 x 32 x 13.75wb
https://www.skatewarehouse.com/Real_Guerrero_Knees_Deck/descpage-RLGKN92DK.html

Tough to tell just how much it tapers over the trucks but I’m guessing it’s in the 8.75 range.

God Save my Knees...on point!

The guy from the Almonte Boardshop was rad to talk to via Instagram, so maybe hit him up and ask.

He did say they were from AD Woodshop too.  Thought I had put that in, but realise I hadn't.

They have a lot of other good boards on the shop walls, so it wouldn't be too hard to compare something you see on those walls you know or have skated before and go from there maybe.

Hopefully they are back up to running as per normal.

I recall some people were not at all happy with a few things a while back, maybe from the BLANKS thread.

Very interesting...this is like 15 minutes from me. Maybe I'll hit him up and see if I can preview the product before buying.

dert skateboards is doing my holy grail shape
pennswood pressed
8.75/14" wb
7" nose & 6.75" tail
steep conclave

was waiting for scumco to come back and do this shape
this is a welcome alternative

Almonte Boardshop Owner here. Thanks for the interest in the shop decks. Let me know if you have any questions about them. I did use AD woodshop for this run. I have not talked to them since the arrival so I do not know if they are still up and running or not. They were having some issues for sure but managed to get me my order (although a bit late but I think that is the norm these days).

i was at a shop today and the 8.5 blast skates mascot logo deck measured to be a 14 inch wheelbase which is really strange because looking at their site the measurements are completely different. worth looking into at least.

I noticed the same with scumco logo boards. Website says 14.25wb, but it's 14 for sure.

@off I also messaged the Dert dudes and got the same answer before checking back here. Really stoked about that 8.75!

Really sounds like AD just went down hard, but at least people liked the short wheelbase boards they had out.

Good that others can pick up more business too, as is the short wheelbases already there from Pennswood for you guys.

Almonte shop deck is indeed wide and blunt. This is the nose of a 8.75 mellow concave. My last board was a full so it feels familiar. Wood seems good. I hate how my grip turned out.

Hey these photos may help some of you guys that’s debating on grabbing one of these Almonte skate shop decks. These are 8.5 the left side is the steep mold. Right is mellow. I ordered 8.75 steep I can post pics when I get it. I’m stoked. The dude that answered my questions on Insta was  cool as hell and down to answer question and sent me these photos so I can see the difference in the molds.  Stoked to buy from this shop and will do it again graphics look dope and the shop merch looks sick too. Definitely a cool shop worth supporting

The 8.5 steep mold looks like a cop… I just snagged their deck of the day 8.5 Hockey for $45. Definitely a shop worth checking out. Always looking for those $40-45 decks 👀

The new Tommy G real deck is 9.2 x 32 x 13.75wb
https://www.skatewarehouse.com/Real_Guerrero_Knees_Deck/descpage-RLGKN92DK.html

Tough to tell just how much it tapers over the truck but I’m guessing it’s in the 8.75 range.

I got this today and for anyone wondering it tapers to 8.5 on the back trucks and is 9 on the front. Somewhat similar to the couch, with obviously more of a shovel nose. Looking forward to skating it.

I just got confirmation that AD is done. I was very lucky to get my full order apparently. I talked to someone who put it an order around the same time as me for the same quantity and got a call from their lawyer saying they went out of business. He didn’t get his boards and it doesn’t look like his money back either. Super bummer. They made a really good board/shape but I guess they didn’t know how to run the biz side of it.

Such a good pic.

I copied and reposted in the DLX Shapes thread too, cause that pic alone is so good, but as you put it - having the link and more info really helps too!

New (and presumably final) Zane Timpson deck is 9"x32.25" with a 14.25" wheelbase. Possibly not short enough wheelbase for many of you, but worth sharing.

Not sure if posted yet but these fancy lad Bigzo decks are 9.0” x 32.25” with 13.75” wheelbase. I’m obsessed.
