Corpus Christi
« on: January 21, 2021, 04:27:58 AM »
On a nursing deployment here for an unspecified amount of time and was wondering what there is here to skate?  Staying downtown and passed by a little skatepark, but I知 looking for some low key street spots, since I知 going to have to try and stay hidden on my off day because we池e no really allowed to go out like that, but fuck it I知 a grown ass man and I want to roll around.  Any help would be greatly appreciated!

What kind of stuff do you like to skate?
Grant middle school has a long foot tall ledge with metaledge. In the back of the school good on weekends

Do you like ditches? This is by a business called fleet pride, not too far from downtown.

There痴 a few other skateparks within 30 min of downtown if you check out google maps, I usually go to the flour bluff skatepark park Wednesday mornings.
I can tell you where anything else is on my insta, most of it is around town or not that far away.

I visited my grandparents there way back in days, probably 89. At that time I remember tripping out cause the beach sidewalk had a perfect 2-3 foot transitions. I知 sure it痴 long gone by now and I知 surprised I never saw it any footage back then.

once you parking the lot of the business called Fleet Pride, if you stand in front of the building facing the free way, you walk left towards the grass and the ditch is right there, the barrier behind the curb is the barrier of the free way.

King High School is fun on the weekends. Flat ground, low manual pads and red curbs to slappy. The simple things in life...

They are still there. Unfortunately, they are not as awesome as you remember.

Ha, that's amazing.  I was pretty new to skating when I was there so I thought they were skateable.
