I don't understand how they can include Ace 33's on their completes at the price they sell. That's a good deal.

All I really care about is if their wood is any good. Do they have their own Woodshop?

I hadn't even noticed they have an ad on here until now. So it's a snowboard company that makes and sponsors longboarders and Grayson Fletcher?

For what it’s worth, Arbor is not a good snowboard company - nobody thinks that. And I really doubt they have money to write a “deec” check. They are, aptly, a step down from Element in terms of brand respectability (and certainly sales) in any discipline.  If your dorky uncle who “used to surf” wants to try snowboarding or something, he might get an Arbor, but that’s it.

edit - guess people do think it’s a good snowboard company. But per the above, it’s also people who “fuckin dig” those Ed Hardy lookin Shuriken boards and will be “givin them a crack!”.  So....idk

Not sure why I care, but Arbor fucking sucks as a snowboarding brand too. Just maybe slightly less than its skateboarding branch.

Weird to see Greyson sign with them, are times so tough he couldn't get on a real brand?

I thought Arbor was a NHS company? Maybe that was just cuz of the Shuriken Shannon connection.

If you on purpose skate to Bathory and you're friends with the Blood Wizard people and you chose to ride for Arbor then I really don't know what to tell you
them cats are out getting mashed up to jungle, he's out mashing up jungle cats. it's just not gonna work.

Living in the mountains and having the vast majority of my friends snowboard in the winter, I can verify that Arbor is a highly respected snowboard brand.

Weird. I always thought he’d just get on blood wizard.

I know; RIGHT?!?
Seriously weird that didn’t happen.
I was so convinced it was a sure thing that I bought his new B-Wiz pro model & was just setting it up when I saw the news via banner advert.
Prolly just me, but does anybody else feel like dude has 5, maybe 6 tricks on lock & just does them big/fast?
Good for dude, I think(?)
[close]

Very weird that he’s not on bw because he's super close with Gregson. I can't believe he didn't at least give Madness a call since that's where all the socal transition rippers are w/ Clay, Ace Pelka, Fardell & Beckett. Creature would have been a good fit as well. He's def hesh enough for their brand

Weirder is gregson filmed and edited that arbor intro.

HAHA,

lib tech is like the birdhouse of snowboarding. Capita and DWD are sick, the DWD owner blew us off (when I supervised a snowboard shop in BC) when trying to buy boards off them. Did meet the owner he's an actual legend tho. Still Salomon, Lobster, Bataleon, Nitro are all dope and GNU even if they are owned by lib. Never summers can suck me.

As for arbor it looks like it's just their skate brand that is under that company that houses zflex and penny which is a bummer, sucks to hear that they've kinda sold out now.

Far from relevant

Elements makes longboards and made snowboards atleast once.

Arbor is basically Element, with maybe a little less money.

as close of homies he is to whoever, thoes ocmpanies like madness, creature, and blood wizard probably dont want to kill thier underground vibe by having a mainstream kookster on it. these guys are very self aware of thier audience. having an ex-element rider and lets face it he is kinda hollywood with the dad and grandpa surfers all start rocking it. they may not want that kind of look on their brand idk. there is a following that comes with having ppl like that on your brand i think.

I can't speak on the quality of their snowboards but, they had a hot season or 2, 4-5 winters back where a decent amount of kids on the hill were fucking with them. Erik Leon and Mike Liddle both rule.

That 5Boro Santoro series is most likely cooler than anything arbor will put out. Shalom.

You base the ‘respectability’ brand off their videos more than their product? Scott is one of my favorite riders a for sure, but it doesn’t say much about the boards themselves.  This ain’t skateboarding where its all 7-ply wood with pretty much same technology for the last 40 years.
