Albums you would maim/kill/ pay a small fortune for
« on: February 13, 2021, 01:16:43 PM »

I enjoy seeing all the vinyl in that thread, but wanted to start another thread with a familiar concept (bit the title from Gay Imp Sausage Metal). Anybody have any grails or out of print stuff they search for it haven’t seen in the wild in a very long time?

These I have on cd but would love to find on vinyl eventually

Brotha Lynch Hung-Season of da Siccness. Black Market records version I see on eBay for 99 bucks brand new, clearly still in demand and with what people are willing to pay
Brotha Lynch Hung-24 Deep
El dopa 1332. East Bay Menace records
Grimple/Logical Nonsense split. East Bay Menace
Bruce Lee Band. Cease and desist Dill records release
Janitors Against Apartheid/One Eye Open-Nerds. Cease and desist Dill records
Skankin Pickle-Fever. Cease and desist Dill Records
Nate Denver’s Neck-Prepare to Die. Album by longtime SLAP mag music reviewer

Dork by AFI

Spazz/Charles Bronson split

Had first presses of both but sold them to finance a move. Still regret that shit.
Well I have like 9 Andy Anderson dated flight decks.

SQRM's Rodeo. I could just go on discogs and get it for fifty bucks, but I'm not a huge record collector anyway.

I would love to get my hands on the Tales of Terror LP, which has never been reissued in any form.  I’ve seen it turn up a few times but always around $150... too rich for my blood.

Some of those early Italian hardcore records I guess?

Geoff has repressed dork a few times over the last 4 years or so under some potentially dodgy claims but who knows. Or you after the original?

Hahaha, nice thread title!
Lost of my stuff got chucked out over the years and you can get most stuff digitally these days but my friend had a copy of John K Samson’s demo tape Slips and Tangles and it always felt so special to me so I’ll say that

Impish sausage is definitely gonna blow up as a euphemism this year

Nice!!
I tried to order it a couple years back, and was arranging it to be at my mom’s house for me to pick up, but the Distro was having lots of problems and when it was obvious they didn’t have their shit together and it wouldn’t arrive in time I cancelled the order. Now I regret that
