I still have two sets. I was thinking about redrilling an Anti Hero 8.75 Eagle and setting them up for a curb setup.

I picked up a pair of Tensor Mag-Lights, and honestly they'd be the best truck I've ever ridden if the axles didn't bend after a few months.

I've since switched to Indy standards, but I've recently frankentrucked the hangars together with the baseplates from the Tensor's and the geometry seems similar enough to work really well.

It’s in a pile of magazines in a pile of boxes in the attic - really not worth the effort I promise!!

Now you have us invested and it's too late to turn back.

I had the very first Krux right when they came out in the early 90's. The pivot on the hangar broke off within the first couple sessions so I had to return them and apparently it was happening to others so they gave me Indy's instead.

Dammit this is going to be the second wave of Tensor guilt - the day I mentioned my guilt over my review of tensor trucks, inadvertently got them invested leading to a cataclysmic let down when people reach the end of the lame-bow only to realise the review in question wasn’t worth the bother!!

Warning done

It was Document magazine U.K. I think probably one of the early ones - I’d guess maybe 5 - 10 but that really is a guess

Happy hunting! Next time I’m near my attic I’ll try to dig out

Which, now that I come to think of it, was a factor in my reviewing them before properly skating them all those years ago

I have one krux bushing in my aces that’s the closest i’ve ever gotten to any of those. They’re a lot softer than ace bushings too :/

Same, aren't all truck sizes the same and the only difference was high or lows? I wore size 10.5 - 11 shoes in Junior College because I thought I needed bigger shoes, and this was during the moon boot days of the 2000s, could have contributed to a lot of rolled ankles. Hell I would buy the same shoe model in whatever size they came in.

You could grind anything from what I recall.....I think I broke the kingpin on mine.  I had Bill Danforth explain the whole history of the truck to me one night and it's too bad I retained none of it.

there's a kid I know that is so into the idea of G&S trucks, he's made chromolly copers that he welds onto his thunders....

In the 80's Motobilt were the truck of choice in Vancouver....

Had some shitty silver tensors with black baseplate and orange plastic piece. Remember those trucks more than any others I have skated because off how bad they were.

You'll want to read this then:
Who Killed the Chromoly Truck?

They really could grind through anything. It's like when you grind down to your axle, and the axle doesn't wear out but the aluminum keeps wearing away around it.

Grinding raw unpainted curbs was not a problem. Left a weird smell after grinding from the steel. Felt great on metal coping as well.
