Looking to buy a new carrying bag for my hmc. Wondering if there is a go to people use? Looking for a backpack styled ones.

I couldn't find the exact one I bought (over 3 years ago) but this one is pretty much the same. I like that it has the zip pockets on the top part in the main compartment, mine doesn't. May need to confirm the measurements the one I have I can't store the HMC with the handle up, I have to lay it on its side, which is fine for me. Its hard to find one tall enough for that and they are usually pretty pricey. Mine has plenty of room for extras and up until I bought an opteka, I was also carrying my t3i with batteries and a fisheye. Hope that helps

I made a video talking about my bags and cameras and shit:

I've found the Huwang to be pretty good. Survived a rough flight to Barcalona and all the bullshit that comes along with travel. It's my go to bag. Fits my VX1000 and all the bits I need, and also fits a HPX171. Decent quality, enough pockets and pretty cheap. And not too suspecting. Not like carrying around a Pelican flight case which just scream steal me.

I use a Think Tank Street Walker HD. Had it for 5 years and has done the job. I have a HPX and Xtreme fisheye.

Nice, good stuff all. I actually ended up just buying this bag off Amazon (was cheap and next day delivery). Once I get it I’ll report back with the quality

So that bag just barely fit the hmc, was a bit tight. Ended up returning it and ordering a different one.

Hi
I been using a Lower Pro for several years, and moved into a Think Tank Airport Accelerator since 2018.
That thing is sick and fits perfect for a HMC/HPX with the Xtreme, batteries, rails support... or even 2 HMC/HPX plus the Xtreme, a few batteries and the rail support!
Highly recommended!

Also I use a rolling version to carry the rest of my equipment (Bolex16mm, more batteries, 2 external microphones, led lights, Super8 camera), but this one could work pretty well too for the HMC/HPX, specially for those who dont like to carry heavy stuff on his back.

I don't have a fisheye, so I went with a Lowe Pro on the medium/smaller side that would fit the HVX and some small accessories like the charger and a lens cleaning kit. It works perfect for what I need it for. I have a separate backpack with my laptop and external in it.

So I ended up buying this bag

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07ZCRWPPV/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_awdb_imm_3PV8TV6WNHKCSFKX2QKN?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1

Everything fits pretty well. The hmc can be sat down on the bottom of the cam instead of the side which is nice. It also fits my fisheye(not xtreme), 3 batteries, a camera light, camera battery charger and small camera light battery charger.
