The past 3 decks i've set up i've been like 'this is the one, this is the one they die on' and they just keep fucking going lol. I did rotate them a couple weeks ago for the first time cause i was on the verge of feebling through the bushing yolk

Im pretty proud of the slide marks on the nose, really went hard with the crooked and noseslides. Boardslide marks are lacking and the Tail has 5-0 marks but no tailslide marks.

Glad to see more action in this thread again! Here’s my contribution:

My foray into 8.125 from 8.4 is going well. Some consistency has returned. I may go back to 8.25 after this one but for now I’m trying to roach this one.

I remember wanting that 3 legged dog board @Orangepulp1000 but it never came through my shop. The wear on those Ventures looks great!

As soon as I seen it at the local I had to get it. Had it on the wall for about a yr or so before skating it. Didn’t think I would but times got tough and needed a new board desperately.

Cheers, on their last legs as the axles have a slight bend now but they’ve had a good life. First pair of trucks I’ve hit axle on.

How do some of y'all scrape nose/tail but a considerable distance from base plate??? Genuinely curious. Balance slide so ur baseplate doesn't touch???

thunders? (But yes, my mind boggled over those pics too; maybe they are from blunt/ nose blunt slides?)

In terms of space between baseplate and slide marks ( at least for me) yes Thunders. Lots of curbs as well which depending on the shape of the curbs may also affect placement.

Rounded curbs and ledges will do that. I skate Aces and my baseplate never touches with 54 mm wheels. I should probably skate some sharper curbs.  ???

I’ve been skating a rounded curb a lot lately and noticed this happening on all my boards

Yeah, round curbs will do it.  Had a quick session on the new twin and did a few FS tails on a manny pad that's bordered with rounded curbs.  I also try to not slide on the flat of the kicks and only on the bit where it starts to curve up.
