So what's the over/under on this company devolving into yet another brand who's aesthetic is "shitty because its funny" and "Let's just knock off Strobeck" but with worse choices in music because they're 20 and have no actual historical context or taste.

Fully agree. Awful, derived aesthetics and approach to starting a company. It seems like a very low rent, unimaginative version of FA, with no veteran pro to steer the ship. Very underwhelming and all hype.
