Just revisited this for the first time since 2015. Still holds.
Well I have like 9 Andy Anderson dated flight decks.

We Have the Facts and Something About Airplanes are both amazing albums that have tunes that make me feel a lil something. Before Death Cab went full corny

I got a Smiths songs that I listened to constantly during a cold winter where I had a particularly poor period of mental health in my early 20s... This one is when I'm feeling sorry for myself

And this one for when I start feeling the will to live again. The lyrics are pretty corny but some of my favorite for when I'm sick of feeling like shit.

how come rites of spring and skewbald rule but fugazi sucks so bad?

It took me a long time to get into Fugazi but once I stopped wanting them to be a punk band they started to make a lot more sense to me.

Aside from that, has anyone listened to the new City of Caterpillar album? I'm tired of reunion albums ruining band's perfect discographies so I haven't been game to check it out yet. I also can't stomach screamo anymore unless it's really really fucking good like CoC's first album.
You’re a Florida native, aren’t you?

Really had to limit myself and keep it within the genre, and only explain two choices.

This one played in the background when I tried to shoot myself in 2014

I listened to this record on repeat during the plane ride to my first deployment that effectively ended my youth.
city of caterpillar is all time low music for me as well, I can't guess how many times I've blacked out on the floor to this song
I'm glad you're still around

anyway their new album is very good, and they're still great live
I'll be seeing them when they play with Avail this summer, if anyone is going to that

not sure if this is considered “emo” but I had the pleasure of seeing these two bands live recently and I really enjoyed it
i like the tiny headed bear who says nice stuff to everyone.
