I find it hilarious that Cannabis Corpse is better than Cannibal Corpse, at least in my opinion.

Don't remember where I found these guys but they're really raw and groovy.

how dare no one post immolation yet

immolation are hella underrated in the death metal world imo. i think it's honestly in large part due to the fact that they don't have as good of a logo or album art as a lot of the other "big" 90s DM acts. even just in terms of the metro NYC area, they deserve to be in the same musical level as incantation, suffocation, or mortician. for my taste, immolation is honestly even better. such good tom rolls in the durmming, such an incredible touch of melody without getting corny. but their album covers and t shirts and all that just don't look quite as sick as their peers. but pretty much every immolation album is good, like up there with cannibal corpse or morbid angel in terms of being consistently sick af. just my 2 cents.

New Creeping Death. Bringing the Texas Heat

https://youtu.be/U0IVCQKoOL4

Echoing this. Creeping death and genocide pact are by far my favorite death metal bands at the moment. But real talk creeping death is probably the best band to come out of DFW since power trip.

I also just realized I missed seeing them with exhumed because of being in El Paso and that is bumming me out so badly.
Fuck yeah, pants! I'm a big fan of those. Have a few pairs myself.

New Waking the Cadaver is super fun! Even tho I'm not super familiar with their older stuff I know they used to get hated on by the Trve Death Metal Police but this new album is solid as fuck IMO. Loads of sick riffage mixed with dumb heavy Slams/Breakdowns!

New Archspire also fucks. Not huge into most Tech Death Stuff but those guys have such a unique and bonkers approach to it. Everything is so extra and I should hate it but they are able to pull it off somehow.

This is also pretty lit. A friend of mine suggested me the other day... that OG At The Gates'esq Melo-Death, but made by US dudes instead of long haired blond dudes from Sweden. They have members from de hardcore scene (Dead Heat, Vamachara, Hands Of God) which is pretty cool.  8)

Im listening to that new At The Gates record, The Nightmare of Being. I was never really into their music, but this is good shit, I must say.
