3:37 mark. Anyone know where that is? Kinda doesn’t look like it’s in NY but also could be. Flat gaps/manny pad looks fun

I’m nearly positive this is at the corner of Martine and Court in White Plains.

i skate the playground 52 park, hunts point, and the ledges by the Whitlock 6 train. I live further north though. South Bronx is where a lot of the spots you see in footage are. There's also Lenox Ledges and the park on 114 (it's got a concrete mini!), both in Harlem, if you're on the 6 at all
Also ledges at James Monroe HS
Good looking yall, i’ve been to playground 52 & lennox ledges but have to check out these other spots. I also peeped there’s a new skatepark, playground 134.

Anyone got any spots around Flatbush and Prospect Park? I just moved to Brooklyn after living in Chinatown and it's feeling dry out here.

Anyone know what events are happening on GSD (Tuesday)? Maybe I’m not looking in the right places but I haven’t seen anything.

It might be the one that was in red hook years ago. Saw the same one this weekend in coney island next to the pier with the wavy bench

There was a plastic one in Bronx River Park a few summers ago. Very mysterious

The Lafayette/Spring curb is amazing. I wish I could give whoever got it going money or something. It's a little angled and a little round. It's perfect. Just did a slappy front smith. Worried it'll get killed like the curb north of borough hall.

Unreal that there are people out there that are so uptight and lame enough to think skate stopping a curb is a good idea.

the authorities tried knobbing the curb at VAPA in LA and it got de-knobbed pretty quick. just an encouraging little anecdote. altho the downtown BK curb is kind of in a cop hotspot, whereas VAPA's parking lot is kinda protected and off the main street.

Cadman! That shit being gone is gonna hurt this winter when the sun starts going down mad early. Perfect ground and lit 24/7, huge loss

Agreed. plus skating loud as fuck in front of all those people at that lil cafe with like, generational wealth, trying to enjoy their $20 drinks is a great dynamic.

Was doing tourist shit around the city with my gf and without knowing what part of the city it was stumbled upon the black hubbas (and the other spots in the area). Was pretty neat. Wish I had my board so I could attempt a 1 mph sketchy noseslide.

I plan to come to NYC around Halloween. If anyone’s around to skate with and/or show me around that would be super nice. I’ll get you on a few drinks. I plan to be in Manhattan if that makes a difference.
Before you say the music sucked, have you considered shutting the fuck up?

I am going to be in Queens for a work trip September 6th - 8th, working in Corona and staying in Long Island City. I only have to work the 7th, so I'm hoping to skate as much as possible. I'm going to head straight to Con Edison from LaGuardia before checking into my hotel, but I was hoping to get some insight on what else to skate in my short time there. I'm trying to stay fairly close to my hotel to avoid subways, crowds, etc but if LIC is as void of spots as the QS map shows I could always head down to Brooklyn or something. Is the Long Island City DIY still going? I'd really like to find a cellar door somewhere in the area as I'm from the Southwest and they don't exist here.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated! :)
