Pyramid Ledge is maybe knobbed again, but if you gap out, you're good. If not, you're in the middle of the Financial District there, and there are going to literally be hundreds of spots within a 15 minute push. Hit the Quartersnacks spot map.

Hell yeah thanks 🫡

Gonna be visiting in Oct. Staying near the Pyramid Ledge. Does anyone know the bust factor/nob situation? Also any other spots in that area?

Thanks

it was knobbed last time i went there about 2 months ago. it just has one knob right in the middle of the ledge, so as the poster above me mentioned, you could gap out but that's easier said than done. there are other ledges there that can be skated that aren't knobbed currently i think, but they're not out ledges like the main ones everyone skates. bust factor is relatively high i think but marginally better on weekends.

you're just a couple blocks from Seaport there though which has some of the nicest ledges in the city. lots of pedestrian traffic but still really fun. not far from tons of other stuff too but a lot of the stuff at office buildings in that area is a bust during the week, just fyi.

Any tips on rain spots?  Was planning on coming up to NYC on Sunday/Monday but it's looking 50/50.  Staying near Central Park but was planning on skating Brooklyn/UWS park/LES.  Does that K Bridge spot stay dry?  Weather forecast keeps changing.

Gonna be in town next weekend, looks like maybe a chance of rain. Does the Spot under K bridge stay dry?

CBS building, that's an OG spot from the 90s. Unfortunately it's blocked off and not skateable, I live right by here. It was only skateable again for a brief period of time when they removed the planters for construction, but it's netted off now. Someone did cut the netting/fencing making it very briefly skateable for a couple days, but they replaced it again.

Walked by today and it looks like someone cut the net again. So if you ever wanted to skate it now's your chance. And it might be now or never.

Anyone as excited as me for the new skatepark in seton park in The Bronx aka Riverdale?  Probably not, but I've been stalking the site since it was announced and looks like construction finally starting. 3 years behind schedule, not bad for NYC!

To confirm, skatepark in seton park in BX to be area fenced off and city workers around.  Hopefully this is really happening.  Actually shocking given how close VC park is, but without a car if your not into skating or walking (i.e., a little kid) its a world away, so very exciting.  Funding is there and construction vehicles and looks like maybe a year out it will be skate able.  For now, annoyingly a number of key walking trails cut off by the fencing and some fun flatground spots/a ledge I used to skate.  Oh well..

Any spots people are willing to share in Inwood either near the park or the bridge to bronx.  Been over there alot, but not skated.  Looking for rails (not for me, but 'friends'), curbs, ledges, and especially banks. Thank you!

haven't been to this spot in a while so can't speak on the condition, but might be worth checking out: https://www.jenkemmag.com/home/2021/10/21/building-spot-bronx-jerry-mraz-huf/
