« on: March 30, 2021, 09:27:58 PM »
anyone know of dress type skate shoes that are not impossible to get your hands on? Something like Gravis/Huf Rieders or Supra Grecos.

Most of emerica look kinda dressy to me or  Dickson, provost, spanky do and the Dakota colorway wino slip. I’m skating spankys and they feel great. Flick is killer. The Beatrice vans look dressy. I wanna cop those girls date nights ha.

Those look so good.

The Ellington / Herman shoe brand (idk the name) makes dressy type shoes that are somehow skateble. I really dig those

The key is to find a simple shoes in premium materials without many logos. For example Adidas Coronado o Janoski's slip ons in full leather.

Emerica has a reserve line that look pretty good

Y’all sleepin’ if’n you ain’t peepin’ the new Globe x Watson Extreme Skloafer, slated to be released as the Austyn Gillette pro model for Summer 2021.
It’s already being called the “must have” shoe of the year.

Once again, outstanding work @Watson.

Bryan Herman's company Hours just dropped in a bunch of shops. They have a skate loafer. The pull tab and side panel are gross but it's the first run so I'll cut them some slack. I wish them the best, Herman is dope.

Not the answer you're looking for, but just buy dress shoes for those occasions and skate shoes for skating. If you skate in the dressy skate shoes they won't be wearable for those occasions you actually need dress shoes. buy a nice pair of dress shoes and they'll last a decade.

I doubt this is your situation, but always found it a sign of immaturity and kind of joke sesh when people ONLY wear skate gear like its huge part of their identity and they shop exclusively at ccs.

All of these posted are an abomination in my opinion. I think just wearing a classic design like a vans slip on to satisfy the same basic silhouette will look infinitely better than some horrifying amateur overdesigned nonsense.

The beatrice vans are the least offensive, but i think they would not wear in nicely when actually skated.
