It was a combi masters contest where he was announcing if I remember correctly.

It's unbelievable. He's the absolute worst.

Edit: RIP to the Grossman, can't believe it's been a year already. Many of his words that ring in my ears, almost every day. As does his playlists. We did not deserve this man, but I'm glad we had him for as long as we did...  "Art imitates life, life imitates art... Go fucking skate a curb, man!"

Are you talking about the two playlists he put together for The Good Problem right before he died?  There was some good stuff on there.  I had never heard this before.

Yeah, Jim was just carving, doing grinds etc, and Grosso was complaining that he wasn't taking it serious enough and shouldn't be there.

Except that’s exactly what Hosoi does.

I don’t know if this was the same year or same beef but there was also some argument over who Seniors vs Legends and who was what.

Essentially there were too many over 40 rippers “that no one cared about” who started crowding out the big name eighties guys so they had to introduce a new division “Legends” but then in that division there was controversy over who belonged, etc. It’s ok for Holmes to do kickturns and laybacks but not someone who wasn’t cool.

I didn’t think Hosoi came off *that* bad during the interview, I mean they were obviously asking him the questions they asked the other people so it’s not like he just went on all out total “let’s only talk  about me!” rant

RIP to the legend though, can’t believe a year has passed already ....
