Busenitz tongue centering solution?
« on: April 06, 2021, 09:26:36 AM »
I'm probably not the first person to think of this, but I modified how I lace my Busenitz and haven't had any issues with the tongue slipping. I have worn these almost daily for a few months and have skated in them a few times.

Hopefully it's not too hard to make out in the pictures, but I simply poked a hole in the tongue itself at the point closest to the nearest lace hole and laced through it.

That's all.

That's a great solution altho I don't know if it's my feet or something but I haven't had that tongue slipping issue while skating my pair. I don't have them super tied but I laced them to the last hole.

^ same here

i had the Lynx Zero which lacks center straps and had to make my own thing on the middle of the tongue cause that puffy tongue would slip to the side  :(
