Great interview. Thanks for putting in the work guys. I got so excited when I saw there was one with Jake. From things like the story behind the changing music in the tunnels in Hawaii to Casper destroying his laptop, really good stuff.

I could be a little off in my memory, but they lost enough footage for them to go back and re-film. I remember reading something to that effect in the Thrasher article about the trip.

I feel like we did talk about this briefly in one of the conversations we had prior to the interview. He also goes on record to say he’s not the best at logging tapes so I’m sure that had something to do with it. There’s usually a lot more that we talk about that doesn’t go into these interviews, I try to go out of my way to keep these at a certain length so that you could read them in about 10-15 minutes.

On a more serious note, I had no clue he was so deep into drugs at such a young age. It’s always really inspiring to see people overcome their demons. Thanks for putting this interview together

I’ll have to watch his Sr. Palmer part again. I have been to Milford, CT many many times for business. It’s a beautiful idyllic New England town but I could see a lot of born there die there in that area. It’s hard to give up a Dunkin’ Donuts every 5 minutes.

I get that he’s being humble and keeping it real but was surprised to see him think that most people who read the interview will have no idea who he is.

That Sir Palmer part definitely set him as one of the best skaters on WKND and his opening part in Death Dance is so good. A lot of us are big Trevor fans up here in Seattle!
