I'm sure an European business owner, in this industry, that deals with so many fluctuations in sales, is a "right winger" whatever that means. Right as in conservative or, right as in socialism, or you saying he is a fascist? Sole tech supports, and a lot of their funds go into grass roots skateboarding. Or does he want to sell his brands as if the other brands make less equivalent product? (Thats essentially fascism). Don brown is epic and earned whatever he made, and also lost for years just to make sure we have them around. Sorry to type so much, Your just like not informed, totally, bro. Don't cry or whine, go skate. Maybe read all brands of news too and make your own opinion. That's what skateboarders do.

After years of skating in the first Templeton shoe, MJs, Tilts and Reynolds 1, 2 and 3's I gotta say it hurts my heart to see Emerica suck as bad as they do now. I kinda wish they would just put the company down like an old crippled horse and start over with a new Sole Tech brand, but that's probably not happening

Great post, so many memories. The kirchart 1 was sick too if I remember right. I don't see myself paying 94 bucks for og-1s. It comes across wrong or creagers for 125? Are they hurting or milking? I feel there is a boardroom of non-skaters looking at past sales and examining spreadsheets. When Marc's shoe came out it was 67 bucks I think, but that was a lot of money then,  but when you put them on, they were pf flyers, you skated better. I just don't think they are doing it right, personally. I get the 150 for muskas though lol. They want my old people money, make a new current shoe sole-tech!

Great point. They order shoe lines a year ahead I'm assuming.

I think 18 months to 2 years was mentioned in that interview Jeff Henderson had which is about right.
Same with clothing companies.
To even get to the point of catalogues, it takes forever. And then once it appears in a catalogue, it's another 6 month wait.

That point from idea to catalogue seems to be far quicker with boards, but that makes sense as to a certain extent, its just a graphic change and nothing more.

If Jeff started at the start of '24, it's going to be the start of '26 before you get something completely him.
