rest in paradise!

This has always been one of my top five favorite covers. I remember reading his interview in that issue so thoroughly. I was 13 years old at the time and going through a board every two months or so. He said in that interview he would break a board (or more) every session and I rushed into the kitchen to show my mom and tell her every two months wasn't that bad.

RIP to Jonas and thoughts to his family.

I was thinking of this cover and interview too when I read the topic title. I remember him saying something if you slammed on the salt flats and you would cut open your arm or hand the salt would burn like hell so that cover is a lot gnarlier than it looks.

Rip in Peace.

Jeremy said he passed away in his sleep on his Instagram, said he found him on the couch, sat up like he was taking a nap. No foul play, no wild story.

Every time I see his name I think of this salt cover.  So sick.

So terribly sad to hear this news.  I feel like he was slept on in the 90s, underrated for sure.

RIP and prayers for the family

Teared up a bit reading Jeremy's post, just thinking how much it would hurt if I found my own brother like that, can't even start to imagine. Rest in Peace Jonas and strength to Wray family :'(

That is the wildest. It makes me afraid to sleep. That is the scariest, he was fine took a nap and never woke up. Damn...

It's wild, but honestly, isn't peacefully in your sleep the best way to go?

Met Jonas in the early 2000s on a Media tour with Dave Duren and Jake Stewart, he was super fun and so cool to all the kids.

perfect photo! I imagine at one point it would been hard for him to skate in Jeremy’s shadow knowing that his brother was literally the best skater on earth, but he always came across as a super humble guy who was just stoked on rolling. Was shocked when I saw Jeremy’s insta this morning, RIP ripper!!!
