Yup. The reality is that the Braille guys probably made more money last year than all of the top SOTY skaters. Skating is bigger than ever and presently exploding, but that money is in increasingly fewer hands. There are few if any remaining $40,000/m checks from board or shoe sales; the future of being a top earning pro skater is to be an Instagram influencer a la Nora, or to monetize a YouTube channel.
