For real though, kinda stoked on the resurgence of quad skaters, and mostly don’t mind sharing the park with them as long as they understand the park etiquette.  It’s also gonna give your gf the chance to spend quality time with you, and unless you hate your girlfriend, I think that would be pretty cool

Buy the skates for her and she’ll get into park skating. Then you can go to the park more frequently and stay longer without her bugging. My wife was avid with that shit and it ruled, and it was nice to buy skate shit without being guilted.

Aside from my personal feels about roller skates (they suck, most of the people who like them suck, fuck them--kook away if you must), this is actually incredibly good advice if for no reason other than it relieves you entirely of the responsibility for picking something the other person likes.
