For people in the USA who want to try them:

https://kineticskateboarding.com/products/film-hollow-kingpin-trucks?_pos=2&_sid=53b5ad48a&_ss=r
https://libraryskateshop.com/products/film-trucks-hollow-5-5?_pos=1&_sid=5ab2d40cf&_ss=r
https://eurotings.com/collections/all-film

Never bought from Eurotings, but I cannot speak highly enough of Kinetic and Library.

Not really a technical question but the Andale collab comes with a single bearing per truck? (looking at the eurotings listing)

Well that’s just less bearings you’ll have to throw away.  Pretty cool of them.

Can someone post pics and measurements of the new 4-hole baseplate version?

Here's a few pics of the 4 hole baseplate 6.0 raws. A little bowl riding and one miniramp session, so far so good.

Take the measurements with a grain of salt, but I found an axle width of 220.5mm (8.68"), a hanger width of 153mm (6.02"), and the wheelbase was 79.5mm (3.13")

Thanks! There is difference between old raws and hollows at least, could be the new 4-hole baseplate changed wheelbase again.

so it changed because the 6 holes were sitting much closer, in between ace and indy. 3.13 make them goes up to venture/thunder territories that's a big change. they feel the same in turning ?

At 79.5mm (3.13") they're really close to my Indy 159 standards (78.5mm) and Hollow Forged 149s(78.75mm). Now I'm likely the worst person to ask for comparisons because my basis for comparison is small, and I'm really quite a poor skater. That said they feel at least comparable to the Indies in turn, and maybe a hair more stable?

155 trucks have a hanger width of 153 mm as the 1mm washer on each side adds up to 155. My 160 Films are also 158

I bought film 5.25 raw. I skated them for a week but didn't get used to it. I have been skating venture hollows 5.2 hi on 14 wb decks for some years and when i put the films, first the turnings felt super sharp and the overall feeling is super loose for me. I read that the bushings need some time to break in so i skated for a week and now tightend a bit (almost a tread from the kingpin) but still haven't tried it. I am wondering if they are gonna feel more stable on >14 wb deck (may be 14.25, coz i am  a short guy) and with a harder bushings, may be a barrel bottom. As for now i messured the axel to axel wb and it was around 17 " (43.2 cm) and the venture set up was 17.35 (44 cm), the decks are different and the wheels too, but the pop angle of the film set up is a bit smaller. It is super for manuals, 360 flip, fs flip... but my kick flips go rocket. it is kind of a  light feeling, but when i turn and use the steeper nose for tail it feels better. Any suggestions? wider wb deck ot steeper kick may be better for these trucks?

Are there actually 52.5mm high film trucks? They seem to be 54/55mm everywhere else

As far as I know they're 52.5mm. Both mine sets have been.

Definitely squirrelly on short wheelbases and more steady on bigger ones. That said, I ride films on 14” ish wb and I feel like kickflips just require a higher up foot placement to work - like up towards the front bolts more.

I believe what they did with the new baseplate is put a 2mm longer kingpin in and a taller boardside bushing. That pushed the wheelbase out and made the truck higher.

My regular skatetool fits. All the same as other trucks. So
Its imperial I guess.

Oh, this is new information. If it's true, time to look at something else. 55mm is just too high for my old feet.

This, or you could get smaller wheels or run the bushing without the boardside washer like bones hardcore bushings

Anywhere to get these in the US? I'd love to try a set but I can't find any for my 8.25 deck.

Looks like Eastern Skateboard Supply is carrying them now so you should be able to order them from local shops online.

Kinetic/Nocturnal also stock them, though they are a bit low RN.

Does anyone have recommendations for bushings other than stock that can be used in film trucks? I am finding it difficult to find hard duro Film bushings in the US. Thanks.

Can anyone comment on their turn? If a venture is a 1 and ace is a 10, where do Film trucks land on the scale?

Interesting, i might try them then cause I really like Ace but the wheelbase is way too short for my liking on some boards.
