Can’t forget how in depth and precise Jamal Smith’s Tornado Spin trick tip was.

I love when people bring up world hunger. It makes everything meaningless.
"That guy is double parked."
"Who cares? There are people starving to death! Besides, how does that affect you? Does it lessen the joy of parking?

My regular frontside flips still suck but this really helped me with my switch ones.

Not a trick tip but the second angle of Heath’s back lip at 2:46 has helped me realize to keep my damn shoulders straight for fs board/nose and bs lip/tail.
Not that I’ve 100% committed to learning those tricks, but it works until I get distracted and then try something else.

Front rocks : a dude told me to peep that back heel.
It works.

I was told to look over your shoulder like someone is calling your name from behind, but twist your shoulders and hips in the opposite direction. It made no sense until I tried it, but winding up like that makes it so much easier to do the fs kick turn.

I love decking the board as crooked as possible, then whipping that fs kickturn. One of the best feeling transition tricks.

The Slap slappy thread(s) and clips from users slappying encouraged me to try slappies today and enabled me to learn them immediately (like third try or so). Amazing, I still fail to comprehend why it works but it does. Without this site I would never have got them. Slap rules, and nomen est omen (latin for name checks out).
why come?

Heath, Arto, Fowler & Allie have the best backside lipslides. Keeping the shoulders parallel controls to rotation and continues the forward momentum.

Jon Allie's BS Tail at 1:29 taught me what it means to open up your shoulders. The hips twist to guide the deck and prevents over-rotation. So underrated, amazing board control.

A friend of mine taught me how to do crooked grinds when we were kids. His top was Go slow and crook until you stop on top of the ledge. This teaches you how to stay over it and not fall out.
