I feel bad for the dude.  Every year or two he puts out a part where he does the most absurd shit and basically all of skateboarding says "gee whiz, would you look at that" before going back to shrugging every time his name comes up.

Evan Smith's skating is fairly interesting and his style and music choices are tolerable, Clive's are not and his skating is admittedly crazy, but just is not nice to watch to me

Do you not remember the days when he’d skate to his own band?

Music and fashion have always been integral parts of the culture of what makes skateboarding special, there are just varying opinions on the importance of the role they play which i recognize, yet share my “correct” opinion nonetheless

has anyone skated to this

that would be cool

if the answer is no, who would you like to see skate to John Prine's "Angel from Montgomery"?

incredible part
There was an interview with TK, when he was a plumber. He got asked if he gets recognized on the job and his response was "No. Plumbin in disguise." Everyone on SLAP thought he said "put him in the sky"

Dude is fucked on a skateboard and has oddball choices in his parts that upset the alltimers/wallies/pants-glancing crowd, so for that alone I like him. That noseblunt was absolutely hectic

one of the most tasteless things i've ever seen. hasn't john prine been through enough this year with the whole dying of covid thing? he needed his most obvious song totally bastardized sonically by this fuckin loser? i hope you feel ashamed clive dixon. i hope you feel ashamed adam mills.

The only thing good about that Prine cover is the minor chord they threw in at the end of the versus. I'm Australian, and still amy's voice sounds like nails on the proverbial BLACKBOARD
Now, we used to say we put on our tights to put on the world. So I don't think it tarnishes the image at all.

Clive is sick. I back him. He puts out a lot of footage and has nice flick and strong pop.

I do wish he would have just chosen a straight John Prine song (especially since this part is named after him). But at the end of the day, who cares. The skating was still great.

I also enjoy that he is a gnarly hucker, florida bro, but also a dude who enjoys reading and writing. Fun combination.

Imagine calling your part "Prine" but not using the John Prine version instead opting for "the viagra boyz", Speaks to his god awful taste imo, someone said it earlier 0 for 100 on music selection

I liked the song and part. Had a bit of a psychedelic element that vaguely reminded me of old nancy & lee songs and kept it interesting. I think it worked and will take this over another part edited to black sabbath or david bowie any day. I didn't expect the mix of skating either.

please don't compare the viagra boyz to the great, Lee Hazlewood thank you. John Prine compared to Lee is acceptable but still ill advised as Lee is the Goat as the kids say.

That was gnarles barkley (and I also liked stallion). 5050 into pole jam was fucked up-- serious self-impaling risks (plus the angle of the jam, given he was going downward...). Song worked imo, or maybe my standards are just super low after his using 'creep'.

Dude looks like he's going for a straight-edge Braydon, which is pretty funny, and at least makes him memorable. Seemed to be riding a Baker board at one point. The Boss should take him under his wing, teach him how to wear a belt, etc.

I would really like to see someone skate to a real John Prine or Townes Van Zandt song. Don't know who could do it, but I'd love to see it.

The fact that people could actually like that song blows my mind. Anyways, last trick was pretty fucked.

It’s true that this guy is full 08 throwback, but I love everything he puts out anyways. Reliably pushes the envelope on stunt skating and makes it look decent. The fact that he did the ender without the ugly-ass 50-50 pinching that has become the norm is amazing.

Also, the kickflips on flat looked great and whoever built that impaler rail should be sued.

I thought that this Amig part was edited pretty well but since then it seems like he hasn't had so much luck with edits/music.
