His mother who he lives with has a net worth of over 300 million dollars. His mom's sister is equally wealthy and is married into another super rich family that develops LA real estate. My money would be on that the only reason Lotties exists at all is because he is related to someone who owns the block where Lotties was located.

Independently from what is the actual issue with Lotties, the way Nakel is trying to solve the problem is a fruitless way.
Life is not a rap music video, and if he actually wants to help the scene he should act in a constructive way, not a destructive way.
