Looks like that medical examiner who used to skate had to change out the Florsheims to showcase his roots

some news outlets are making it sound like ramps were the issue, not a car barreling down a dead end 50mph+

Unrelated, two kids last year from NJ died in a Porsche Boxter when they launched a median and crashed through a second story building window.

A devastating loss of life.

But at the same time, great concrete work that could take the speed and mass of a car without crumbling.

Sucks that these people to died.

Also, sucks for this DIY spot to get unnecessary attention. I imagine that its days are numbered.

I saw this on the news and originally they thought the car went off the bridge. Spot is definitely going to get destroyed.

Florsheim’s aren’t much better on your feet tbh, that’s actually how I learned that spending a little extra money on some better made shoes is a worthwhile endeavor.

I’ve been to this spot before and I can’t picture how this could have possibly gone down, is there any video footage of the launch?
At least when you're a washed-out hipster douchebag in NY, you can milk it at some decent looking, hard to skate spots. In LA you're just a tan-lined faggot in a school yard somewhere.

If you watch the video in the link you'll see they went off a section to the right on what's in the photo. You can see a couple cinder blocks in the photos, just to the right

Extend the quarterpipe into a 12ft vert wall so it won't happen again

Yo I grew up in Toms River! That’s crazy. It’s a relatively small community so my mom and her neighbors were talking about this nonstop when it happened.

Sorry if you knew them.  Now someone needs to pull it to B/S 180.  That's how one upping goes.  A late shove could work in a pinch.  Is this place going to get demolished because of these guys?
