Guns and Roses fucking sucks. I'd be so happy if Sweet Child of Mine was erased from existence. Why do people in their late 40's/early 50's still love this shit?
I like the guitar riffs, the rest is crummy
I like "It's so easy" because I can forget about GNR and think about Gino doing a back 3.
I totally get it if you were there in 87 or whenever Appetite for Destruction came out, but I've heard those songs a million times, not on purpose, and god damn does that shit get old. I feel like their reputation far outweighs how good their music is.
I completely get what you mean. What about black sabbath? I feel your critique could apply to them too.
Nah, Sabbath rips. I prefer the early stuff though. Never got into any post-Ozzy sabbath or Ozzy solo stuff.
I was born in 88 and really didn't get into music until my teens, so I could be completely wrong about this stuff, but did GNR really bring anything new to rock when they came into the game? There are bands I don't care for but appreciate (black flag, kook away), but I can't really find anything redeemable about GNR. I guess it really doesn't matter. I don't like GNR.
