Popping out of nose slides and crooks

I can get a good grind/slide almost every time but getting out of the trick does my head in, every time i dip my back trucks to pop out i just slip out of the trick, someone help so i don't look like I'm falling out of the trick anymore.

Sounds like you need to get your weight more over the nose so you're stable on the ledge.

Also I'm no pro at popping out but I like to think of it more like a chinese nollie, scooping/popping forward instead of out and dragging my back foot.

Yeah you're just going to have to experiment with your weight distribution while you dip your back to get the nudge. Can't let it dip for too long its almost instantaneous. Also for noseslides I can get a bigger pop out easily if I try land in the noseslide with my back foot a lil closer to the middle of the board.

Good tips here it’s more just a little nudge then a full pop. Chinese nollie analogy is spot on.

To pop out of a crooked grind you just have to do a crisp horizontal nollie motion. That's it.

Noseslide you gotta let your tail sag a tiny bit and then nollie.

It's less of a nollie and more of the same motion you do when your doing a little nollie bonk on a crack in the road.

I will add that you want to pop into the crook or noseslide with you knees slightly bent when in contact with the grind. I usually stick or slip out when i slam into grind or slide position with straight, locked knees. Bent knees also give you springiness you need to pop out of the trick.

Yeah what he said! It also really helps if you learn sw fs 180s or nollie back 180s. Similar motion.
