Koston is the ultimate cringe right now. It’s actually sad watching him.

I feel like he wants to be Tiger Woods lite or something. The way he dresses and acts. Total golf wanker vibes

They might have edited out some bails but i don’t think it was “staged”. I bet mike mo can still do flatground tricks pretty consistently, yeah the mobility and feeling in his foot is fucked but it’s not like he’s in a wheelchair. Seems to walk around pretty well and even run out of bails

Looks like it hurts him a little to run out of simple bails.

Man, I get why folks would be snarky but that was a great battle and worth it just to see mike mo rip again.

I’m guessing the next match will be Xmas weekend.

Koston annoys me, but that shit was pretty wholesome and entertaining. The shameless Achilles heels shots made it feel like a game of with friends. Also knowing neither of them have any stakes in making it to the next round but are just there to fuck around while being mad talented was kinda refreshing after watching the Joes and Influencer games where cats were hungry for it but didn't have ability

But will ultimately be decided by the referee.

he’s good with impossibles, and that trick is like a nollie into a regular impossible so it seems believable to me

Fake game. No audience and one camera. No way mo landed that shit first try. There is zero legitimacy to the Berrics anymore. None of the employees skate. They fake the games. Shit is washed.

I used to think it would be easy, then I hosted a game with like 15 kids and a few older guys. People kept wandering off and getting lost, or asking to hold up so they could eat, or go to the bathroom, random shit. The honor system did not work and the older guys kept complaining. If I ever got tasked with hosting another one, my first rule would be nobody over 16 years old.

haha that's so true. I've done a couple of these and the kids are always so fired up and eager to get thru the bracket. Then after every trick they're eagerly checking with the ref to make sure it was good.  :D

BATB is definitely just going through the motions, and it's hard to get excited about a contest that the organizers aren't even excited about. But that P-Rod battle… wow!

Controversial opinion:

I think koston has been less annoying lately. I had no problem with him in this game.

He landed a regular one vs Ramondetta when he was on “T” back in the day too. He wouldn’t let his last Hurrah be a staged game; hence, why he kept doing nollie flips over and over until he had it dialed.

One of my favorite all time BATB games. Love Pete, love Mike Mo. perfect pairing of opponents to highlight nuances of style.
