I saw a pair of cariumas in the wild today. I blame this.

Do yourself a favor and don't ever look at the cariuma website. I made that mistake and now I am plagued with cariuma ads online and even got sent a mailer within a week of visiting the website. I have no idea how they got my address and mailed me crap so fast.

Kickflips are the hardest warm up tricks

I can usually Tre flip and backside flip in a sesh before a smooth kickflip.

I think it's because there's so little going on... In the technique... There's more room for error

I remember when I skated in these Cariumas it gave me Chann flick, and I remember one time I did like a perfectly Chann esque kickflip over a 2-3 foot tall rail from flat, and it’s prolly the best kickflip I’ve ever done.

They are just super stressed out. You can sense that from all the game, it's a big deal for all of them. They basically all say the same thing " I grew up watching the battle at the berrics, it's a dream blablabla" so it adds more pressure. Also doing a game of skate in a silent warehouse while 20 people are watching must me weird.
